Water Coolers for Schools
Importance of Water for our Children
.jpg)
Recent professional studies show that children need more water proportionately than adults, a child who is poorly hydrated may not have a raging first, but our children will perform less well at school and concentration is known to reduce.
Children should be encouraged to drink more throughout the school day, especially after particiaptation in playground activities or sports. An hour of moderate exercise can mean a child could loose half-a-litre of fluid n sweat. Research has indicated that increadibly only 10 per cent of schools made sure that the children had a drink after exercise.
Whilst many schools have 'fizzy-drink' vending machines many do not provide free water for our children to use.
